Doctor is recommending moving mom to hospice. The IV fluids are not being absorbed properly. Her lungs are filling with fluid. She hasn't been able to go pee on her own. They are going to put in a Foley catheter. She's not a candidate for surgery. Doctor thinks she has 4 days, up to a maximum of 2-4 weeks. The hospice team is on the way to do the evaluation and arrange the transfer.
