Mike is on his way to be with mom. I just don't feel like I can do it anymore. Some people say staying until the last moment is a comfort, but for me it was just worse as every hour passed. I don't want that to be my last memory of her. I had my best moment with her at the hospital when she asked me why I was crying. When I told her, she said I'm not in any pain. I love you. And I'm a lucky mom. I want to hold onto that moment.
