Mary Elizabeth (Prevett) Clark, 86, of Coeur d' Alene, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Hospice House of North Idaho. Mary was born August 7, 1927 in Bisbee, AZ. She moved with her family to the Silver Valley, to live in Wallace in 1935. Growing up in the valley, Mary had many family and friends that she was close to, who provided her with love and caring support. Though she left the valley for periods of time, living in the Los Angeles area and later Tacoma, Washington, she always returned to the Silver Valley. Mary lived in Pinehurst for many years before moving in 2003, to live with her daughter, Kelli Bruce-Aiken, in Coeur d' Alene, shortly after the passing of her husband, William J Clark. She was most recently a resident of the memory care unit at Couer d' Alene Homes Assisted Living Facility. Mary's legacy of love of family and friends, along with being kind and willing to help others, will live on through her children- Francie Ryan-Pooler, Mike Stafford, Kelli Bruce-Aiken; her grandchildren Shannon Pooler, Carri Pooler-Dickenson, Elissa Stafford-Overstreet, Brandon Aiken; her great grandchildren Troy Lancour, Cory Dickenson, Matthew Pooler, Ella Pooler, Lauren Overstreet, Taylor Overstreet; and her great-great grandchildren, Averie Pooler and Levi Pooler. Mary did not like goodbyes, so in her memory, the family is planning a very simple and casual memorial get together at the Elks Temple, 202 1/2 McKinley Ave. Kellogg, Idaho on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. More than anything, Mary enjoyed time spent with family and friends, visiting over a cup of coffee.
