Walked into hospital room and found mom propped up, with a tray of water, coffee, apple juice, hello and chicken broth. Dr. Lorion told mike that she has adjusted some of the medications and that we should gently encourage some fluids. I offered a sip of juice. She said no. Later, mike offered water. She said, no- coffee! She had a drink of cold coffee and said it tasted good! She's awake and watching the conversation between mike, Elissa and myself. Not really jumping in much but will answer when we ask her questions.
