Talked to dr. Fogerty, the hospice doctor. She shared that mom wasn't medicated yesterday, but they have given mom 2 doses of Morphene today they will give as needed to keep her comfortable. When I asked how long she has, the doctor said it was hard to tell, but maybe Up to 2 days. She said to not count on any more responsiveness than we've seen since yesterday. Although she said occasionally, especially with people who have been in the hospital, they are do worn out, that they will sleep for a couple of days, then rally and become responsive again, then slip back. Mike and I decided to take a break and come home for awhile.
