Memories of mom- I'm surrounded of memories of mom. I decided to make some ice tea. As I took the large pan out of the cupboard, I realized it was mom's pan. She cooked everything in it- pot roast, macaroni and cheese, beef stew, and even her famous potato salad. Then as I was doing laundry for Mike and I, I couldn't help think about how often mom did our laundry. When mom moved in with us in 2003, she took care of us. I would come home from work and she would have gone grocery shopping at Costco, cleaned the kitchen, vacuumed and mopped, made dinner and did all of the laundry. All of our underwear would be folded and placed on our bed. Everything else was hung on the metal bed frame, waiting for us to put it away. Mom was all about taking care of her kids and grandkids! She always was so thoughtful, kind, caring and nurturing. She was a huge support to all of us!
